In Sakhalin Island the Company provides engineering solutions for maintenance and upgrading of onshore (terminals, reservoir bases, pipelines, factories) and offshore objects (subsea pipelines, terminal platforms) for Sakhalin-2 project.
Permanent office work in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (relocation required).
Responsibilities:
- Technical support for Offshore/Onshore projects such as Rig Refurbishment, Upgrade and Modernization/Installation on offshore rig platforms and LNG operated by Sakhalin-2 project.
- Responsible for mechanical and HVAC engineering for rotating, static, packaged equipment, HVAC
- Develop specifications, data sheets, material requisitions for mechanical/HVAC packages.
- Prepare calculations, layouts, D&ID, other drawings using software.
- Ensure project schedules and client-approved budgets are managed and met.
- Input to scopes of work, design briefs, basis of design and technical reports as required.
- Prepare detailed Cost, Time & Resource estimates based on client-supplied work scopes.
- Assist in discipline front end and detailed design input to engineering projects
- Own discipline and inter-discipline checking of technical documentation.
- Competently deliver presentations both internally and to the client.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project teams and clients
- Review technical offers from suppliers’ and prepare Technical Bid Evaluations
- Provide package management, organize and chair weekly progress meetings with suppliers and client during package management
- Develop technical bid evaluation/ chair technical aspects of bid clarification meetings in the presence of suppliers and client representatives
- Travel offshore as required for surveys and construction support
- Develop design review meetings.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Oil & gas drilling or refinery
- English – upper-intermediate
- Education – Mechanical/HVAC engineering
Experienced in:
- Feasibility, Conceptual, FEED and Detail Design stages of projects
- Study, design, specification, and services related to the mechanical/HVAC engineering discipline
- Custom Union Technical Regulation certification/declaration for mechanical, HVAC and packaged equipment
- IEC (ATEX) hazardous areas technical requirements
- Local legislation norms and GOST’s
- Mechanical equipment related international standards are preferable, such as ISO, API, ASME VIII div.1, SMACNA, ASHRAE, etc.
- Familiar with piping design and valves.
- Rotating equipment, pressure vessels and high pressure equipment.
- AutoCAD 2D and PDMS / E3D
- Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with a drilling equipment is beneficial.
