Company project team is located in Baku.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of an active acoustic sensor to detect sand particles in fluid-filled pipelines, integrating both theoretical modeling and practical sensor design.
- Apply advanced knowledge of wave physics to simulate acoustic and electromagnetic wave propagation in complex media, including multiphase fluid environments.
- Develop and implement numerical models (e.g., finite difference, finite element methods) to solve PDEs related to acoustic and electromagnetic wave propagation.
- Conduct multi-physics simulations using commercial and open-source software platforms to model sensor performance, wave interaction with particles, and fluid–structure coupling.
- Design sensor prototypes with a focus on wave excitation, transducer geometry, and signal capture, considering environmental conditions such as high pressure and temperature.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration of sensor design with signal acquisition systems and data processing workflows.
- Guide experimental validation efforts, working with the team to design lab-scale or field-scale testing setups that correlate with simulation results.
